Firenze

It's been a long time between drinks (I can barely remember the last time I visited this glorious city that's tucked into a bend of the Arno River) but time has been kind to it.

We have marvelled at Michelangelo's David, visited the Duomo and lunched in the shadow of the Santa Croce Basilica. Tonight, there will be pasta and oodles of the local Chianti.

Just quietly, I think Florence may be my new favourite city.
