Coast and Country

A few months back, I 'did' the three-day Tora Coastal Walk at the heel of the North Island.

That story is published in the June issue of North & South Magazine (click here to read).

Scenes from a ruggedly beautiful coast

Here are a few visuals from the three-day, three night Tora Coastal Walk I did for a story Sunday-Wednesday this week. Apart from the first rain-lashed day, the approx 47km walk was a lot of fun and I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the hood.

Now I just have to write the bleeding story....

Tora Coastal Track

Tomorrow I will drive to the Wairarapa (about 35 minutes out of Martinborough, since you asked), to begin a three day tramp/hike of the Tora Coastal Walk for a magazine story.

I sprained my ankle while out running a few weeks back, so am hoping it's up to the 47km-ish round trip. See you on the other side...
