Lulu Funk

A few weeks ago we drove up to Feilding to interview and photograph the woman behind Lulu Funk, the organic kids clothing company.

That story is in the August issue of NEXT Magazine (click here to read). The photos were taken by the talented Animator. So nice to be able to work together on a project.

The best thing about winter

Is the NZ International Film Festival and tonight I was lucky to again be invited to the gala opening of the festival.

The opening film looks very cool - Faces Places, this delightful French number.

The city by the bay

Hawke's Bay, that is.

Tomorrow I am off to Napier for a flying visit to eat and drink myself silly for a food story for a national magazine.

The pants with the elastic waist have been packed.

Books, glorious books

July's pile of goodness has been delivered - the North & South Magazine review books for my reading pleasure.

I only have to pick one to read and review but one day I hope to have oodles of time in which I will leisurely read all four books and then decide which one to review. #lifegoals

What I did this week

So the week's media trip flew by - three nights in the Isle of Pines and one on a stunning resort about an hour and a half north of Noumea.

Am now in catch-up mode so there's no time for words. Instead, here's this week in pics...
