Scenes from today

Yesterday there was a wedding; it was spectacular. As are the photos. Except the Animator, whilst channelling David Bailey, had the camera setting on 'raw' and I can't figure out how to convert them. They will appear later.

Today I took the day off work to spend with Gina. The sun finally figured out what it was supposed to be doing. There was a walk along the waterfront with Bristol, who was exceeding pleased to find his mother at home on a Monday. There was coffee and a stroll into town, lunch on the deck at a waterfront restaurant and then a visit to Te Papa Tongarewa, New Zealand's rather wonderful national museum. Ten points to the laid-back museum guide we overhead describing the back-breaking work early Maori underwent to create their houses. "All that chopping would have sucked, eh?"

If only every day was this good...
